Jamie Pearson
Having gained a Degree in Land Management at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester Jamie went straight onto a Graduate Contract with Persimmon Homes Thames Valley. This gave him 3 years of valuable insight into all facets of the "PLC machine" from Land acquisition through to Construction and finally Sales. He was made Land Director in 2000 and set up a new Persimmon Company - City Developments. This covered all major cities in the UK. Sites were purchased from Exeter all the way through to Glasgow - but always having a focus on London. He was then asked to be part of the Management Team in the Persimmon takeover of Beazer and Charles Church, and following this was asked to lead the 5 remaining Charles Church land teams.
As the opportunity presented itself Jamie left the Persimmon Group in 2004 and set up Thornacre. The vision was to see Thornacre grow as it purchased land and building for planning gain, but also to provide a service to Landowners and Companies that covered all facets of the Residential Property industry.
